My name is Corinne Shultis. I am now a senior at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York. I originally was a transfer student from Ulster County Community College where I received an Associates Degree of Liberal Arts in Mathematics and Science. I will be graduating from Mount Saint Mary College in May of 2017 with a Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics with a minor in Psychology. In addition, I will be receiving a dual certification in Adolescence Education, grades 7 - 12 and Special Education from New York State.
I successfully completed my student teaching in the Fall of 2016 in the Kingston City School District. I was placed at Kingston High School, where I had the opportunity to teach Algebra I, Algebra IA, College Algebra and Pre-Algebra. I was able to challenge myself and grow with my students during the 14 weeks. This experienced provided me with opportunities that enhanced my love for education.
